India vs Bangladesh Kanpur Test: India's ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Monday joined the elite list as he became just the seventh Indian to pick 300 Test wickets.
Jadeja accomplished this feat during Day 4 of the second Test match between India and Bangladesh at Kanpur's Green Park Stadium on Monday.
The 35-year-old star all-rounder scalped the wicket of Khaled Ahmed in his 10th over to complete this feat. Jadeja is also the first left-arm Indian spinner to achieve the feat.

Jadeja’s 300 Test scalp came in just 73 Tests, at an average and the southpaw also has 3122 runs at 36.72 with four centuries and 21 half-fifties.

Jadeja also joined former Indian captain Kapil Dev and legendary spinner Ravichandran Ashwin in an elite list by becoming the third Indian to slam 3000 runs and bag 300 wickets in Tests in history.
The star all-rounder achieved a milestone by claiming his first wicket of the match, becoming the first Indian left-arm spinner to reach 300 Test wickets. This accomplishment also cemented his position as the seventh Indian bowler to surpass the 300-wicket mark in the five-day format.
Jadeja joined an elite group of Indian bowlers, led by Anil Kumble, who holds the record with 619 wickets in 132 matches. Ravichandran Ashwin ranks second with 524 wickets, while Kapil Dev secured third place with 434 wickets.
With his feat in his 74th match, Jadeja also became the second quickest to complete the double of 300 wickets and 3000 runs in Test cricket behind England great Ian Botham.
