IND vs ENG 1st Test: The BCCI took to their official X account and posted some interesting behind-the-scenes footage, which consisted of Rishabh Pant's day out of the first Test match against England at Leeds, which also included reactions from team India's dressing room to Pant doing front flips out at the crease. The video starts with Pant coming out to bat on Day 2.
He had scored a gritty knock of 65 runs till stumps on the first day. He was also seen interacting with England's head coach Brendon McCullum, who was standing near the pitch along with Michael Atherton.
McCullum was seen lauding him and told him, ‘Well played’ and Pant then began his training session. When Pant was going back to the pavilion, he also met Alastair Cook, who praised him and the cameramen then shifted to Gautam Gambhir and team India's support staff in the dressing room and Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and the whole team praised Pant for scoring that brilliant ton as Pant was busy doing acrobatics after bringing up his hundred.

Pant scored a brilliant knock of 134 runs off 178 balls, where he also smashed 12 fours and six sixes, which was the most by an Indian wicket-keeper batter during an innings against England. He had also become the first wicket-keeper batter to have smashed three Test hundred against England in their backyard and also broke MS Dhoni's record for scoring the most hundreds as an Indian wicket-keeper batter in the longest format.
His innings helped the visitors post a mammoth target of 471 runs. While chasing, the hosts were 209/3 on the back of Ollie Pope's unbeaten century.
“Rishabh Pant is someone who makes his plans. He decides (the way) and (then) he bats. This innings was a little different than you would see him normally but honestly, that is all his plans. The way he wanted to approach it and when he wanted to attack, he did (and just) because he plays aggressive (cricket) does not mean he cannot play defensive," Sitanshu Kotak, team India's batting coach told reporters during the post-match presentation.
