IND vs ENG 5th Test Day 1 Weather Report: India will lock horns with England for the fifth and the last Test match at the Oval and will try to level the series. The four Tests till now have been quite dramatic and at the same time have entertained the fans as all these games have been forced to go till the fifth day and to some extent till the last session as well.
The Shubman Gill-led side entered the fourth Test match on the back of a brilliant performance, but in the fourth match, they looked quite exhausted for most of the match. They were reeling at 0/2 on the fourth day during the first over itself, and a lot of people thought that the match had slipped away from India. But skipper Shubman Gill and KL Rahul rose to the occasion by stitching a brilliant partnership and made sure that the match went towards the fifth day. When both Rahul and Gill were dismissed, the Indian fans were left worried, but all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar's tons helped the team bounce back.
They had built a partnership of 203 runs, where they had scored centuries apiece and also provoked England skipper Ben Stokes by not shaking his hands to enforce an early draw. The Ben Stokes-led side is currently leading the series by 2-1, but the visitors also have an edge as they will try to bounce back and level the series.
