IND vs ENG: India's Test skipper Shubman Gill and his fellow teammates Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah were seen getting involved in a conversation with English actor and kickboxer Idris Elba, who had a heartfelt interaction with the Men in Blue and had gone to King Charles' London home for a meet and greet. King Charles was seen spending time with the Men in Blue talking about cricket and Gill told reporters that the interaction was amazing.

Gill opened up about the support the side has always received from the Indians living in the United Kingdom whenever the team plays there.

“I saw you guys in the garden and I was like Yo! It’s a real pleasure meeting you. Yes, please," Elba was heard saying in the video while talking to the Indian team.

“Hi, nice to meet you. How are you doing?" Elba asked Harmanpreet Kaur and the team.

At the same time, King Charles III reckoned that the way Mohammed Siraj got out was quite unfortunate and couldn't stop himself and enquire Gill about the same when he welcomed both the men's and the women's cricket team at the gardens of Clarence House in London.

Vikram Doraiswami, who is the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, and Sujit Ghosh, who is the Deputy High Commissioner along with Congress Rajya Sabha MP and BCCI vice-president Rajeev Shukla and BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, also attended the meeting and greet.

“It was amazing. I think he (King Charles) is very kind and generous… we had some really good conversations," Gill told the reporters after attending the meet and greet.

The Shubman Gill-led side lost the third Test match by 22 runs at Lord's as Mohammed Siraj, who was the last batter was bowled by England's Shoaib Bashir. The ball had hit the bails as Siraj was trying to play defensively.

“He (The King) did tell us that the way our last batter got out was quite unfortunate, the ball rolling onto the stumps. And he was just asking us, ‘How did you feel after that?’ And we told him it was an unfortunate match for us… but hopefully, we’ll have better luck in both the next games," he concluded.
