The upcoming series will help both teams prepare for the Women's ODI World Cup, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka later this year.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side clinched the five-match T20I series against England by 3-2 and are riding high on confidence. The last time they played in the 5 0-over format was during a tri-series against teams like India and South Africa. They had defeated Sri Lanka by 97 runs and had lifted the elusive title.

At the same time, the hosts will try to make a comeback after losing the T20I series. They had easily defeated West Indies by 3-0 during the three-match ODI series in their backyard last month. The Nat-Sciver Brunt-led side boasts of a formidable side in this format as they have both youngsters and experienced players in the team.
