On the first day of the intra-squad game, India's new Test skipper Shubman Gill and opener KL Rahul smashed fifties each, and on the second day, Sarfaraz Khan scored a century off 76 balls.

And since KL Rahul would be opening the innings during the upcoming series, there are high chances that Gill might bat at No.4 position for the first time ever but Sarfaraz Khan is not part of the 18-member squad.
