IND-W vs NZ-W Women's World Cup 2025 Weather Report: The Women in Blue will try to end their three-match losing streak in Navi Mumbai and qualify for the semifinal in what is being considered as a virtual quarterfinal against New Zealand on Thursday. The host can become the 4th team to qualify for the semifinals if they can beat New Zealand in Navi Mumbai.
But if they still commit those same mistakes like they have done in the last few matches, then they will be dependent on other results. If they lose to New Zealand, then they will hope that England beats the White Ferns and that they will defeat Bangladesh in their last group stage match to reach the semis.
The Sophie Devine-led side needs to win both of their last two matches to keep their hopes alive, but the match is under a rain threat as, according to the weather forecast, rain might play a spoilsport in the evening. And if the match is abandoned, then Harmanpreet Kaur-led side will have an upper hand as they have won more matches and have a better NRR, which will help them to qualify for the semis.
The host has been seen struggling under pressure. They have lost three consecutive matches to semifinalists Australia, South Africa, and England, as they have constantly failed, even though they have dominated those matches for the most part. Australia and South Africa gave the Indian bowlers a hard time, whereas the match in Indore was a heartbreak as the host couldn't chase 56 runs off 54 balls with seven wickets remaining.
The challenges of this team are not just about team combinations or bowling depth; it's also the pressure of playing in a home World Cup.
WEATHER FORECAST NAVI MUMBAI
There is a high chance that the weather might make matters worse. As per Google weather, there is a 75% chance of rain. The weather will remain clear at 3 p.m., but it will start raining after 5 p.m. and might continue until the rest of the day.
