IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Final: The Asia Cup 2025 final between India and Pakistan is set to enchant audiences at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, with the two cricketing giants vying for the coveted trophy on Sunday.
As per The Times of India, tournament officials have confirmed the reuse of the same pitch that hosted the teams' previous encounter at the venue.
In their previous meetings at the same venue, Pakistan posted 171/5 on board, courtesy of Sahibzada Farhan's 58 off 45 balls. However, India overpowered the chase, successfully achieving the target with ease, winning by six wickets with seven balls to spare.
India's openers Abhishek Sharma hammered 74 off 39 and Shubman Gill played a knock of 47 off 28 while forging a scintillating 105-run partnership in just 10 overs. Tilak Varma's cameo (30* off 19) then added the finishing touches, taking India over the finishing line.

With the same pitch set to host the final, a pertinent question has arisen in fans' discussions: will history repeat itself? Given the pitch's batting-friendly nature and little assistance to bowlers, India's in-form top order will likely look to capitalise once again.
India march into the final on the back of six consecutive victories. In contrast, Pakistan's run has been more unpredictable, but they managed to secure their spot in the final with a hard-fought victory over Bangladesh.
