IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Final: India will lock horns with arch-rivals Pakistan during the summit clash of the ongoing tournament on Sunday in Dubai. The Men in Blue will be coming into this match as the clear favourites, as they have already defeated Pakistan twice in this event.

It should be noted here that not a single BCCI official had flown to Dubai and attended either the group stage match or Super 4 between these two teams. In the group stage match, according to Dainik Jagran, the board had acknowledged the fans' mood and chose to give this match a miss.

On Sunday, the BCCI had organised its AGM, where Mithun Manhas was appointed as the new president.

Debajit Saikia, who is the secretary of the BCCI, and Arun Dhumal, who is IPL's chairman, also attended the meeting.

They finished the meeting quickly and decided to go to Dubai for the India vs Pakistan final, whereas the newly appointed official has decided to stay in India.

As far as the last two matches are concerned, not a single BCCI official had attended the match live. Rajeev Shukla, who is BCCI's vice-captain, also works on the ACC's Executive Board.

Mohsin Naqvi, who is the ACC chief, also works as PCB's chairman and is Pakistan's Interior Minister, and has already reached Dubai and will be giving away the trophy to the winners.

He also shared a cryptic post on his official X account.

Ideally, the Suryakumar Yadav-led side has stayed unbeaten throughout this tournament, where Sri Lanka is the only team to have forced a Super over in their campaign.

At the same time, the Salman Ali Agha-led side has had a mixed campaign. And as per Mike Hesson, who is their head coach, said, “The final is the only match that counts."
