IND vs PAK Handshake Row: The handshake controversy between India and Pakistan has taken a completely different route ever since it took place. Several former Cricketers from both countries have reacted to it; however, former Pakistan captain Mohammed Yousuf has set a new low by using a derogatory term for Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav.

It all transpired during a panel discussion on SAMAA TV, where Yusuf came in as a guest to provide his opinion on the handshake controversy, which took place after India defeated bitter rivals Pakistan by seven wickets in Dubai. Yousuf, in his comments, tried to mispronounce Suryakumar's name so that it appears derogatory.

Here's how the conversation between Yousuf and SAMAA TV anchor went:

Yousuf: India cannot escape their castle of illusion. Their captain, Suarkumar Yadav…

Anchor: It's Suryakumar Yadav

Yousuf: Yeah, that's what I said. Suarkumar Yadav

Anchor: No, his name is Suryakumar Yadav

Yousuf: Oh, okay! He is Suarkumar Yadav. India should be ashamed of itself because of its shenanigans to win matches: keeping the Umpire in cohorts and torturing the referee to act according to them. There is a limit to everything.

Yousuf, who has featured in several matches for Pakistan in the past, also found that the umpires were biased towards Indian players. Interestingly, India got two Pakistani batters out via LBWs, one each to Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy. On the other hand, batters Fakhar Zaman, Salman Agha, and Sahibzada Farhan successfully reviewed their decision.

Following that in the press conference, on being asked about a handshake being against the sportsman spirit, Suryakumar had replied, " I feel a few things in life are ahead of sportsman spirit. I have told it at the presentation as well. We stand with all the victims of the Pahalagam terror attack. We stand with their families also and express our solidarity. As I said, we dedicate this win to our brave armed forces who took part in Operation Sindoor. As they continue to inspire us all, we will try our best to, whenever given the opportunity, inspire them as well if possible."
