Indian bowlers, led by an outstanding performance from Jasprit Bumrah, delivered a collective masterclass to secure a thrilling six-run win over Pakistan in a low-scoring T20 World Cup match on Sunday. Bumrah, with figures of 3/14, and Hardik Pandya, who took 2/24, were instrumental in defending a modest total of 120, ultimately restricting Pakistan to 113 for seven.

Earlier in the match, Pakistani pacers Naseem Shah and Mohammad Amir bowled brilliantly, causing significant trouble for the Indian batting lineup. Naseem Shah, with figures of 3/21, and Mohammad Amir, who took 2/23, capitalized on a slightly two-paced pitch, keeping the Indian batsmen in check. Despite their efforts, Rishabh Pant stood out for India, scoring a brisk 42 off 31 balls, which included six boundaries.

The match had a couple of rain interruptions, but the intensity remained high throughout. Pant's aggressive batting provided some respite for India, but the Pakistani bowlers managed to bowl out India for 119. In the end, it was the Indian bowlers who turned the game around, with Bumrah and Pandya leading the charge to ensure a memorable victory for India.

Brief scores: India: 119 all out in 19 overs (Rishabh Pant 42, Axar Patel 20; Naseem Shah 3/21, Mohammad Amir 2/23, Haris Rauf 3/21) beat Pakistan: 113/7 in 20 overs

(Mohammad Rizwan 31; Hardik Pandya 2/24, Jasprit Bumrah 3/14) by six runs.
