IND vs SA 1st Test: Rishabh Pant has scripted history as he has broken the record of smashing the most sixes in the longest format for India. Pant is currently playing in his 48th Test match against South Africa. He needed to hit just one six to break Virender Sehwag's record of smashing 90 sixes in this format, and he achieved this milestone in the first session of Day 2.
He is also the vice-captain of the Indian Test team and had played 24 balls in the first innings, where he had hit two fours and two sixes and had scored 27 runs.
After smashing two sixes, he now has a record of hitting 92 sixes in the longest format, which is more than Sehwag's tally of 90 sixes.
