IPL 2026 Retention: The IPL has revealed that players like Mayank Markande, Nitish Rana, and Donovan Ferreira will be representing new teams in IPL 2026. Mayank has been traded from KKR to MI, whereas Nitish Rana from RR will now be playing for DC, and Donovan Ferreira has been traded from DC to RR.

Mayank Markande

Mayank Markande has returned to MI as he has been traded to KKR. KKR had roped him for Rs 30 lakh, and now he will be playing for MI at the same price. He began his IPL career with the same team he had represented in 2018, 2019, and 2022. He had also played for RR in 2021 and SRH in IPL 2023 and IPL 2025. He has taken 37 wickets after playing in 37 IPL matches.

Nitish Rana

Nitish Rana will be playing for the Delhi Capitals as he has been traded from RR. He will be playing at his base price of Rs 4.2 cr and was bought by RR at the same price last year. He has played in 100 IPL matches and has also led KKR from the front in IPL 2023 in Shreyas Iyer's absence.

Donovan Ferreira

Donovan Ferreira has returned to RR, having been traded from DC. His price went from Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1 cr as per this trade deal.
