The focus will now shift towards the fourth and the last T20I, where South Africa will aim to win the match to level the series. Speaking of the third T20I, Aiden Markram won the toss and chose to bowl first and although they did take an early wicket, Abhishek Sharma (50) and Tilak Varma (107) went all guns-blazing against their bowling lineup and helped the team post a mammoth target of 219/6. While chasing, the hosts were reeling at 142/5 and they needed 78 runs off 25 balls to win the match. And that's when Heinrich Klaasen (41) and Marco Jansen (54) played late knocks and helped South Africa inch closer to victory but ultimately ended up losing the match.
It remains to be seen whether South Africa will aim to bounce back and level the series at 2-2 or will India win the series by 3-1.
