India National Cricket Team vs South Africa National Cricket Team Live Scorecard: Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya starred with the bat (59*) and picked up the crucial wicket of South African swashbuckling batter David Miller, powering India to a commanding win by 101 runs in the first T20I match at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on Tuesday.
Hardik's knock was the sole half-century in the match as he achieved it in just 25 deliveries.
On the other hand, South Africa's innings never got going as they got bowled out for 74 in the second innings, which is their lowest-ever total in T20Is. The Proteas' previous low score was 87 all out against India in Rajkot in 2022.

India were put under the pump after South Africa invited them to bat first on a tricky red-soil pitch. However, Pandya's impressive knock helped India finish with a solid score of 175/6.
This was South Africa's first loss in three T20Is in Cuttack. While India had a shaky start, South Africa's beginning was disastrous.
India Bowlers Reign Supreme
For India, Arshdeep Singh (2/14), Varun Chakaravarthy (2/19), Jasprit Bumrah (2/17), Axar Patel (2/7), Shivam Dube (1/1) and Pandya (1/16) were among wickets.
Earlier, Lungi Ngidi (3/31) and Lutho Sipamla (2/38) shared five wickets for SA.
