IND vs UAE Asia Cup 2025: India had defeated the United Arab Emirates by nine wickets as they had chased down the below-par target of 58 runs in just 4.3 overs during their tournament opener on Wednesday. Star opener Abhishek Sharma scored a match-winning knock of 30 runs off 16 balls and his fellow opener Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav had scored unbeaten knocks of 20 and 7 runs and helped the side score 60 runs in four overs in a completely one-sided match. 

During the first innings, the Surykumar Yadav-led side had skittled the host out for just 57 runs, where Kuldeep Yadav (4/7) and Shivam Dube (3/4) rattled their batting linep. 

Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel took one wicket apiece after winning the toss and choosing to bowl first.

UAE's Alishan Sharafu was their highest run-getter as he had scored 22 runs for the hosts while batting first.
