JE Sports Desk: India star batter Virat Kohli has been enjoying his time in the Caribbean nation as the team gears up for the upcoming two-match Test series against West Indies, starting from Wednesday, July 12 in Dominica.

Ever since Kohli landed in the Island nation, he has kept himself busy in training and extending his knowledge with local players. In the recent video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Kohli can be seen clicking pictures with local players and also giving autographs to them.

The official Twitter handle of BCCI posted the video with a caption: "Precious souvenirs, priceless selfies and autographs in plenty ft. 'most favourite batter of all time' - Virat Kohli."

India will lock horns against West Indies in the first Test at Windsor Park Dominica in Roseau.

On Sunday, Kohli posted a picture with head coach Rahul Dravid recalling India's last Test match in Dominica.

"The only two guys part of the last Test we played at Dominica in 2011. Never imagined the journey would bring us back here in different capacities. Highly grateful," he wrote on Twitter.

Former India skipper is the only player to feature in India's squad from that tour. India are set to play three ODIs and three T20Is after the conclusion of the Test series.

Kohli is raring to don the India Test jersey again after World Test Championship (WTC) Final defeat against Australia at The Oval last month.

The 34-year-old sweating hard to score runs for his side as India are touring West Indies for the first time since 2019. India remain undefeated in that tour under Kohli's captaincy.

Kohli revealed that he made his favourite memory in the Windies in Antigua, when he got his maiden Test double century in front of legendary WI batter Viv Richards, who is also one of his idols in the sport.

"My favourite memory obviously is Antigua. I got my first-ever double hundred in Test cricket in Antigua in front of Sir Vivian Richards. That for me was a very, very special moment and then he met me in the evening as well and congratulated me. It cannot get any better than that," he told Star Sports.

Overall against the Windies, Kohli has played 14 Tests and has scored 822 runs at an average of 43.26. He has scored two centuries and five half-centuries, with the best score of 200.
