IND-A vs ENG-L 1st Unofficial Test 2025: India's star batter Karun Nair smashed a double ton against the England Lions on Saturday and sent a strong message to the selectors before the five-match Test series against England as he has adapted to the English conditions brilliantly and helped the visitors post a target of more than 400 runs. Although it might be debatable as to whether Karun Nair should be included in India's playing XI for the first Test against England, which will be held next month as he has solidified his case by scoring a brilliant double ton.

Nair came in to bat during the first session of the first day after India A captain Abhimanyu Easwaran was dismissed by lbw and had scored just eight runs as England fast bowler Josh Hull took his wicket during the sixth over.

Nair had then stitched a gritty partnership of 39 for the second wicket with Yashasvi Jaiswal but then Eddie Jack took Jaiswal's wicket during the 17th over.
