INDA-W vs AUSA-W 1st ODI: Yastika Bhatia smashed a match-winning half-century, and the bowlers, under the guidance of captain Radha Yadav, took wickets at regular intervals and helped the team win the match by three wickets against Australia A during the first women's one-day match on Wednesday. The visitors are currently leading the three-match series by 1-0.

Radha Yadav was the pick among the Indian bowlers as she registered match-winning figures of 3/45 and helped the team skittle the hosts out for 214 runs, and then chased the target quite comprehensively as Bhatia spearheaded their batting attack.

The visitors had a flying start as openers Bhatia and Shafali Varma stitched a match-winning partnership of 77 runs for the first wicket in 10.4 overs.

When Sianna Ginger dismissed Shafali, Bhatia then built another rilliant partnership with Dhara Gujjar of 63 runs for the second wicket, and they were 140/1 in 23.3 overs.

The host then bounced back as Tess Flintoff dismissed Gujjar and Kim Garth took Bhatia's wicket and the visitors were tottvring at 157/3. Ella Hayward then dismissed Tejal Hasnabis and Tanusree Sarkar during the 30th and 32nd over, and the Women in Blue were then left reeling at 166/5.

Raghvi Bist helped the Women in Blue bounce back by scoring a gritty knock of 25 runs, even though Radha Yadav and Minnu Mani were dismissed cheaply by Lucy Hamilton.

Initially, the host had a hard time batting except Anika Leoroyd, who scored a gritty knock of 92 runs, and Rachel Trenaman, who scored 51 runs off 62 balls.

The 63-run partnership between Learyod and Trenman was the highlight of their innings, which helped the team bounce back after they were reeling at 50/3, and that's when Trenman was dismissed due to a run-out.

Learyod and Nicole Faltum then stitched a partnership of 45 runs for the third wicket and helped the host score 158/4 in 34.1 overs.

After that, India skipper Radha Yadav and off-spinner Minnu Mani then triggered their batting collapse by taking four wickets among them and conceded seven runs and left the host tottvring at 165/8.

Along with the help of the tailenders, Learyod was able to take the scoreline beyond the 200-run target, but they knew that they wouldn't be able to win the match.
