IND vs AUS 2nd Test: Australia thrashed India by 10 wickets during the second Test match in Adelaide on Sunday. After winning the series opener in Perth, the team management would have hoped for a similar performance for the second Test match.

It was the Men in Blue's fifth Test loss this year and it's the most for them in a single year since the last six years. It is a new low in the history of Indian cricket in the longest format. Looking at their record since 2019, the Men in Blue have lost the most number of Test matches this year.

By analyzing the aforementioned data, it is quite evident that the Rohit Sharma-led side has lost the most Test matches this year. And if the losing percentage is considered, then the Men in Blue have become the fourth-worst team in the last six years.

At the same time, the Indian team also suffered a humiliating clean sweep against New Zealand in their backyard this year and that has only added to their woes. The inconsistent performance of the team has also become a huge reason to worry for the Indian fans. As far as the performance of the Indian team as a whole in the longest format this year is concerned, then the Men in Blue have stooped to their lowest in the last six years.
