Rohit Sharma is all set to be in action for India again as he was named in the team's 15-member squad for the upcoming ODI series against Australia, which starts on October 19.
Rohit will be playing as a specialist batter, having been replaced as India's ODI captain by young batter Shubman Gill. The three-match ODI series will mark the return of Rohit and Virat Kohli for the first time since the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final against New Zealand. The duo was last seen in action during the IPL 2025 while playing for their respective franchises.
While Rohit will be aiming to put the best foot forward in the series against Australia in order to set the tone for the ODI World Cup 2027, he will also have a chance to break multiple records.
