"Hopefully, we’ve clawed ourselves back into the game. I just tried to bat as long as I could. If I hadn't got out, we wouldn’t be in this situation now, but we saw (at Headingley) last week how quickly it can change. India are in the driving seat but hopefully we can put pressure with early wickets and make them crumble," he said.

The fourth day of the ongoing second Test between India and England is expected to witness weather interruptions at Edgbaston. As per Accuweather, there are 84 per cent chances of downpours throughout the day, with 17 per cent chances of thunderstorms predicted too.

"It’s unbelievable because I was waiting for a long time. I have been bowling well but not getting wickets. I have only got four-wicket hauls here, so getting six here is very special. The wicket was very slow but when you are given a responsibility to lead the attack, my aim was to not try too much and just bowl in the right areas and bowl with discipline. My mindset was to keep it tight and not give away runs."

Mohammed Siraj came up with a heroic effort with the ball on the third day at Edgbaston and took six wickets for 70 runs to help India bowl England out for 407 runs and take a huge lead. He got a promising support from Akash Deep who found four scalps as well. 

We are into the all-important fourth day of this second Test at Edgbaston, and India stand in a dominating position at the moment. India will resume their second innings from 64/1 with KL Rahul (28) and Karun Nair (7) at the crease. The visitors have a huge lead of 244 runs under their belt. They will be looking to set England a target of something around 450 or more to keep their chances alive for a win.
