IND vs ENG 2nd Test: England's star wicketkeeper-batter Jamie Smith scripted history on Friday as he smashed the fastest hundred in the longest format as an English batter against India. He came into bat at the No.7 position for the hosts during the morning session on Day 3 of the second Test match, where Smith took the Indian bowlers to the cleaners and brought up his first Test hundred against India off just 80 balls.

He scored his century by smashing Ravindra Jadeja for a four during the 47th over of the second innings.

Besides Warner, Ab de Villiers is too on this list, they smashed his century off just 75 balls in the 2010 Test match held in Centurion. Pakistan's Shahid Afridi brought up his Test hundred off just 78 balls against the Men in the Blue way back in January 2006.
