IND vs ENG 5th Test: Mohammed Siraj, who had helped the Indian team script history and win the fifth Test match at the Oval, had arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday night and was surrounded by fans as they tried to take a selfie with the star pacer. The Men in Blue had begun coming back home after the five-match Test series ended in a draw.
He was the pick among the Indian bowlers as he took a match-winning five-for and helped the side defeat England by six runs during the fifth and the last Test match. This was one of the smallest margins of victory for them in the history of this format.

The Ollie Pope-led side had completely dominated their chase of 374 runs on the back of centuries from Harry Brook and Joe Root. They were 301/3 and were on the verge of winning the match and the series, but with Book mistiming a shot, they suffered a batting collapse and were skittled out for 367 runs.
The match, which was interrupted early on Day 4 due to bad light and rain, resumed on the fifth day, with the host needing 35 runs to win and four wickets remaining.
Jamie Overton began their chase by smashing two fours in Prasidh Krishna's overs and tried to reduce the deficit. But Siraj then dismissed Jamie Smith during his first over of the session and then took Overton's wicket by LBW.
Prasidh Krishna then dismissed Josh Tongue, and Siraj took the match-winning wicket of Gus Atkinson.

Siraj, Player-Of-The-Match
Mohammed Siraj had taken nine wickets and was adjudged the Player of the Match award for his brilliant performance. He had taken a total of 23 wickets throughout this series, and that was the most, and he was the only Indian fast bowler to have played in all five matches.
When Jasprit Bumrah had missed the two matches of this series, it was Siraj who rose to the occasion and spearheaded India's bowling attack and helped the side win two memorable matches.
