IND vs ENG 5th Test: India's star pacer Mohammed Siraj has grabbed all the attention these days for his bowling brilliance during the five-match Test series against England. Hailing from Hyderabad, the fast bowlers had featured in all five matches and had taken 23 wickets.

During the fifth and the last Test match, he had taken four wickets in the first innings and had then registered match-winning figures of 5/104 during the second innings and helped the Men in Blue defend the target of 374 runs and won the match by six runs.

On the back of his brilliant performance, the Indian fans heaped praises on him. Virat Kohli, Jay Shah, and Sachin Tendulkar also praised them on their official Twitter account. Poltician Asaduddin Owaisi, who is the MP of Lok Sabha in Hyderabad, took to his official Twitter account and showered huge praises on Siraj. His tweet had also gone viral, where Owaisi had posted a GIF of Siraj's celebration and wrote the caption as, “Always a winner @mdsirajofficial! As we say in Hyderabadi, poora khol diye Pasha!"

Siraj replied to Owaisi's tweet and said, “Thank you so much, sir, always cheering for me."

When the Shubman Gill-led side had won the fifth Test match at the Oval and had leveled the series 2-2, India's star batter Virat Kohli took to his official X account and heaped praises on Siraj.

The recently concluded Test series started a new era in the Indian Test team after senior players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma announced their retirement from the longest format. Gill performed brilliantly both as the batter and the skipper and was also adjudged as the Player of the Series award for his brilliant batting prowess.
