IND vs ENG 2nd T20I: England skipper Jos Buttler has been a consistent performer for England's batting lineup for a long time now. Buttler, who is known for performing consistently, often rises to the occasion, when the other batters struggle and during the 2nd T20I against India in Chennai, he once again spearheaded England's batting lineup. But India's star all-rounder Axar Patel ended Buttler's knock of 45 runs.

Arshdeep Singh Removes Phil Salt

Buttler had come into bat after Arshdeep Singh took Phil Salt's wicket. The visitors were in a spot of bother and Buttler helped the team bounce back. He was looking in sublime form and that's why he is considered as one of the most dangerous T20I batters. He was inching closer towards his well-deserved fifty but Axar Patel dismissed him during the 11th over.

Axar Gets Rid Of England Captain

In an important moment, Axar Patel bowled a shorter delivery, where Buttler mistimed a shot by playing a pull shot. The ball never really got under it and the ball had touched the top edge. It went towards deep mid-wicket as Tilak Varma took an easy catch.

Buttler did score a knock of 45 runs but his efforts went in vain as his team couldn't take full advantage. After his dismissal, the hosts looked quite comfortable about winning the match.

The Jos Buttler-led side posted a target of 166 runs and in reply, India scored nine runs without losing any wickets.
