IND vs ENG 2nd T20I: The Men in Blue are locking horns with England for the second T20I at the Chepauk stadium. The hosts will try to repeat their heroics from the series opener and extend their lead.

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and chose to bowl first. Arshdeep Singh, who recently became the ICC T20I cricketer of the year 2024 gave the team a flying start by taking a wicket during his first over.

Just like the series opener Arshdeep trapped Phil Salt by bowling a short delivery again. This was the fourth ball of the first over, where Arshdeep had bowled a shorter delivery, which went away from the batter. Salt mistimed a shot using his backfoot as the ball went towards the mid-wicket fence. Washington Sundar took his catch.

After Salt's wicket, Arshdeep was seen celebrating uniquely. He reminded the fans of Shoaib Akhtar's 'airplane celebration'.

It should be noted here that Arshdeep had taken Phil Salt's wicket for the second time in this series. He has become Arshdeep's bunny and will try to change that during the second match.
