IND vs NZ 2nd T20I: New Zealand's aggressive batting display, led by Rachin Ravindra and Mitchell Santner, propelled them to a respectable 208/6 total, exposing India's struggling bowling unit in the second T20I of the five-match series at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Friday.

New Zealand's innings got off to a flying start, courtesy of Rachin Ravindra's tumultuous 44 off 26 balls and brisk cameos from the top-order batters. However, India's bowlers regrouped to stop the Kiwi onslaught, applying pressure and restricting their momentum.

Mitchell Santner then provided New Zealand with a late embellishment with a scintillating 47 not out off 27 balls, helping his team go past 200.

Devon Conway (19 off 9) and Tim Seifert (24 off 13), fresh off BBL, got the Black Caps off to a solid start before losing in quick succession.

Devon Conway's aggressive approach against Arshdeep Singh in the first over was quite unexpected, thrashing the left-arm seamer for three fours and a sliced six over backward point for an 18-run over.

Tim Seifert ruthlessly manipulated Arshdeep's vulnerability, striking four boundaries in the following over to match the 18-run concession. Harshit Rana's timely introduction in the fourth over yielded a crucial breakthrough, as he dismissed Conway.

Rachin Ravindra's aggressive batting display came to an end as he fell to Kuldeep Yadav's wide ball, scoring 44 off 23 deliveries. Earlier, Kuldeep had bagged the wicket of Glenn Phillips, who failed to take the Indian spinner's googly and was caught at backward point.

Shivam Dube's timely introduction in the 12th over helped India gain momentum, as he dismissed the in-form Daryl Mitchell. The Kiwis then rallied, scoring 57 runs off the last five overs, courtesy of Mitchell Santner's belligerent batting and some big hits, including a straight six off Hardik Pandya.
