IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2025 Final: India will lock horns with arch-rivals Pakistan during the Asia Cup 2025 summit clash on Sunday in Dubai. It will be quite historic as even though they are fierce rivals, it's the first time that they will be playing against each other during a summit clash.

It should be noted here that the Men in Blue have stayed unbeaten throughout the tournament, whereas the Salman Ali Agha-led side had lost to India twice in this event.

Ahead of the upcoming clash, let's take a look at three records that can be broken on Sunday.

1. Abhishek Sharma closing in on Virat Kohli’s record

India's star opener Abhishek Sharma has been in sublime form in this tournament till now. After playing in just six matches, he had scored 309 runs, at a staggering strike rate of more than 200, which also includes three half-centuries during the Super 4 match. He is 11 runs behind breaking Virat Kohli's record of scoring the most runs as an Indian batter during a mega event.

Kohli had scored 319 runs in the 2024 T20 World Cup and was also adjudged the Player of the tournament award. One brilliant knock from him will help him to enter an elite list that has players like Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

2. Sanju Samson eyeing a wicketkeeper-batter record

India's star wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson has made significant contributions as he has scored 108 runs after playing in three matches till now, which also includes a fifty against Oman. If he can score 64 runs during the summit clash, then he will break Rishabh Pant's record for the best-ever performance as an Indian wicket-keeper batter during a mega event.

Pant had scored 171 runs during the 2024 T20 World Cup. If Samson is able to perform well in the final, then he will surpass Pant and MS Dhoni's record.

3. Hardik Pandya needs 2 more wickets

India's star all-rounder Hardik Pandya needs to take just two more wickets to become the highest wicket-taker in the history of this tournament. After taking 15 wickets in this season, if he does take two more during the summit clash, he can move past Wanindu Hasaranga and Haris Rauf.

If Pandya can achieve this milestone, then he will enter an elite club of players who have scored 1500 runs in the shortest format and have taken 100 wickets, along with Shakib-al-Hasan and Mohammad Nabi.
