IND vs SA: Hardik Pandya played his first competitive match for India since September 26, 2025, on Tuesday (December 9) in Cuttack against South Africa and remained unbeaten on 59 runs from just 28 balls. In addition to his super knock, which included 6 fours and 4 sixes, he also picked up one wicket for 16 runs in two overs to set up a big win by 101 runs for the hosts. After winning the Player Of The Match award for his all-round show in the series opener, Pandya would like to come up with another big show in the first-ever T20I match at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur.
In the match scheduled to take place on Thursday (December 11), Pandya will have a chance to enter his name in the history books. If the 32-year-old cricketer from Baroda, who made his T20I debut in January 2016 against Australia, manages to take at least one wicket in the second T20I, then he will complete 100 dismissals in T20Is.
