India vs South Africa: Former India batter, who is currently a season commentator with the official broadcaster for the ongoing India vs South Africa series, Aakash Chopra clamped down hard on the Pakistani batter Sahibzada Farhan, for starring in a documentary where he talked about hitting talismanic Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah for a couple of sixes in the Asia Cup 2025. Notably, those sixes were of no help to Pakistan as the men-in-green lost three back-to-back games to India in the Asia Cup, including the all-important final.
However, Farhan received a 'grand reception' in his hometown for those 'sixes'. However, the delusion reached another level when the Pakistan opener was asked to star in a documentary revolving around those sixes as he went to brag about them.

However, Farhan's delusion was called out on social media as he got ridiculed for this step.
Interestingly, Chopra found an opportunity to roast Farhan sarcastically during the 1st T20I match. It is worth noting that Bumrah was hit for a six by South African captain Aiden Markram as Chopra was commentating during that time. Chopra said that it’s not easy to hit Bumrah for a six, and if by chance anyone does, then they make a documentary of it.

Chopra noted that it’s tough to score a six off Bumrah. If someone manages to do it, they turn it into a documentary.
“Bumrah ko chakka koi maar de itna aasan nahi hota. Kabhi lag jata hai toh log documentary bana lete hai," Chopra said.

Bumrah became only the second from his team to complete 100 wickets in T20Is and joined the elite list of bowlers to have completed 100 wickets in all formats of international cricket.
"My relationship with him is very good. He's a gentle senior, never harsh on youngsters and always very polite. Being Punjabi as well, it's easy for both of us to gel. Bowling with him makes things easier for me because batters usually look to attack my overs. Even bad balls can get me wickets because they know they won't get easy runs at the other end. It benefits me, and I absolutely enjoy bowling alongside him," Arshdeep Singh said on JioStar.
