New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Team India all-rounder Shivam Dube on Sunday took over the bowling of West Indies after being given an opportunity to bat at no.3 above skipper Virat Kohli. The 26-year-old made the best use of the opportunity and slammed Kieron Pollard for three consecutive sixes in the ninth over. He hit the first six over deep square leg region and then followed it with another six over the backward leg region and scored the third over extra-cover that went sailing over the ropes for the maximum.

In the match, Dube also scored the maiden half-century of his T20I career. He scored 54 runs off 30 balls that included four sixes and three fours before he was caught out by Shimron Hetmyer at extra cover off Hayden Walsh in the eleventh over.
The second T20I is being held at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthpuram. West Indies won the toss and opted to field first. After 20 overs, India managed to score 170 for the loss of seven wickets, which also included a 33-run knock off 22 deliveries from wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant. For West Indies, Kesrick Williams and Hayden Walsh were the pick of the bowlers, the duo scalped two wickets each.
Later, West Indies went on to win the match by eight wickets as Lendl Simmons slammed an unbeaten 67 runs while Evin Lewis (40) and Nicholas Pooran (unbeaten 38 runs) with 9 balls to spare. The T20I decider is scheduled to take place at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on December 11 (Wednesday)
