New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: The second T20I between India and West Indies is being held at the Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. Though, local boy Sanju Samson didn't feature in the game, he had something to get excited about. As soon as he entered the stadium, the entire crowd started chanting his name. For a moment, everyone was surprised whether it was him or Virat Kohli. Here's how Twitterati reacted:

The 25-year-old had made his debut in 2015, the only match in which he has featured for India. He has been part of the squad for quite some time now but yet to feature in a contest. Sanju has been a household name in India owing his performances in IPL.

In the match, West Indies won the toss and opted to field first. India is leading the series 1-0 after registering six wicket win the T20I opener held in Hyderabad.
