India vs West Indies Test Series: After a recent memorable success in white-ball cricket with the Asia Cup 2025 title win, the Indian cricket team is all set to shift their focus to Test cricket. They will be in action in a two-match Test series against the West Indies, which begins on Thursday.

The first match of the Test series will be played at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad from October 2 to 6.

India's last Test action witnessed a remarkable performance from the Shubman Gill-led side. The Indian top order had a memorable outing in the five-match Test series in England, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Gill led from the front as he was the top run-getter with 754 runs to his name at an average of 75.40 on the back of four centuries.

The series against the West Indies will be the second assignment for Gill as India's new Test captain.

Both the Test matches between India and West Indies will start at 9:30 AM IST, whereas the toss for the games will take place at 9 AM IST.

1st session: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Lunch: 11:30 AM to 12:10 AM

2nd session: 12:10 AM to 2:10 AM

Tea Break: 2:10 AM to 2:30 AM

3rd session: 2:30 AM to 4:30 AM
