New Delhi | Jagran Sports: Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who is famous for his athleticism and agility apart from being the run machine, took a splendid catch in the second T20I held at Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. He caught Shimron Hetmyer right next to the boundary ropes by making an excellent and calculated dive. He ran across to his right from long-on, covered several yards, went tumbling down unable to have any control but somehow managed to keep himself from touching the boundary ropes.

However, Virat Kohli, who was the hero of the match in the opening T20I failed to score big. He was dismissed to Kesrick Williams for just 19 runs who took the opportunity to take a dig at the skipper following his notebook reply in the opening T20I.

Earlier, Team India managed to score 170 runs for the loss of five wickets after West Indies won the toss and elected to field first at the Greenfield International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. Youngster Shivam Dube scored 54 runs off just 30 balls while Rishabh Pant added 33 runs off 22 balls and finished off the innings for team India. For West Indies, Kesrick Williams and Hayden Walsh scalped two wickets each.

Later, fine performances from West Indies batsmen Lendl Simmons (unbeaten 77), Evin Lewis (40) and Nicholas Pooran (unbeaten 38) guided the visitors home with eight wickets in hand and nine balls to spare. The two teams will next feature in  third T20I scheduled to take place at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on December 11 (Wednesday). The series tied 1-1 after India's loss, the last match is expected to be a thrilling contest.
