India Women vs England Women: A splendid 84-ball 102 from skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and a smouldering six-for by Kranti Gaud stunned England Women in the third and last match of the series as India Women wrapped up a 2-1 ODI series win against hosts at the Riverside Ground in Chester-le-Street on Tuesday.

Harmanpreet's 7th ODI hundred inspired India to a 13-run win over England and it was followed by Goud's maiden five-wicket haul, finishing with 6 for 52.

India's batting juggernaut got into full swing as Harmanpreet stitched up some crucial partnerships, with Harleen Deol (81 runs) and Jemimah Rodrigues (110 runs).

In reply, led by Nat Sciver-Brunt's impressive 98 and a crucial 162-run partnership with Emma Lamb's 68, England put up a spirited fight but lost steam, eventually bowled out for 305 runs.

Harmanpreet was at her eloquent finest as she stamped strong partnerships on the way to her seventh ODI century overall and third against England, pummeling 14 fours during her stay in the middle. Richa Ghosh then provided the finishing touches with a brisk 38 off 18 balls with three fours and two sixes.

Defending 318, Gaud set the tone for the match, providing India with an ideal start by claiming two crucial wickets early on.

Despite letting the opposition regroup and earn momentum, India's luck shifted once again when Shree Charan seized the moment by dismissing Lamb.

The Indian women's cricket team ended their tour of England on a triumphant note, registering a 2-1 win in the ODI series and a 3-2 victory in the T20I series.
