Harmanpreet Kaur-led Indian women's team will undergo a 10-day skill camp at National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru to prepare for next month's T20 World Cup in UAE, as Cricbuzz reported.

According to a report in Cricbuzz, Head coach Amol Muzumdar will manage the camp that starts on Tuesday. A full-strength squad includingreserves will assemble in Bengaluruon Monday. Additionally, wicketkeeper-bat Yastika Bhatia and allrounder Shreyanka Patil, who were selected in India's 15-member team subject to fitness clearance from the NCA, will also meet with the team in Bengaluru.

Bhatia and Patil have been recovering from injuries at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). Bhatia suffered a grade 1 tear in her left knee's PCL during a T20I series in Bangladesh in March, while Patil fractured her left hand in the Asia Cup 2024 opener against Pakistan in July. As part of their World Cup preparations, the team will play intra-squad games, which will be held during the day due to stadium availability issues.

However, at the World Cup, India will play three of their four Group A matches under floodlights, with the exception of the October 6 match against Pakistan in Dubai.

Before India starts its Women's T20 World Cup they will play two warm-up matches against West Indies on September 29 and South Africa on October 1. Harmanpreet-led Women in Blue will start their campaign for convent trophy against New Zealand on October 4.

India squad: Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Smriti Mandhana (VC), Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh (wk), Yastika Bhatia (wk), Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy, Renuka Singh Thakur, Dayalan Hemalatha, Asha Sobhana, Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil and Sajana Sajeevan.

Travelling Reserves: Uma Chetry (wk), Tanuja Kanwar and Saima Thakor.

Non-Travelling Reserves: Raghvi Bist and Priya Mishra.
