IPL 2025, CSK vs RCB: The iconic wicketkeeper of Chennai Super Kings, MS Dhoni, once again displayed his outstanding skills behind the stumps, cementing his status as one of the greatest wicketkeepers of all time.

During the clash between Chennai Super Kings vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Noor Ahmad bowled a ball that was marginally wider on the off-side and MS Dhoni once again presented his unique skills in stumping, this time with lightning speed.

The replays suggested that Phil Salt was slightly out of the crease, giving Dhoni a split second to whip off the bails.

A ball was bowled by Ahmad, in the 5th over, which went past Phil Salt's bat. Right away, MS Dhoni swooped in, gathering the ball in the blink of an eye and flashed the bails off. It went upstairs, but replays showed Salt's back leg was clearly in the air, signalling the end for him.

It was an impressive redemption act by Dhoni in the game. With Dhoni's trademark quick reflex, he collected the ball and whipped off the bails in a flash.

While facing Ahmad, RCB opener Salt's foot was in the air again, so the on-field officials referred to the third umpire. After looking at the replay, the third umpire has confirmed Salt's foot was really off the ground when the stumps were broken.

Dhoni's spectacular stumping of Phil Salt was one of many incredible keeping feats by 'Captain Cool' this season. Earlier in the previous match, Dhoni had effected a quick stumping to dismiss Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of the Mumbai Indians, in the 11th over, handing a huge blow to the opponents in their IPL opener.
