IPL 2025, DC vs GT: Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill's ferocious opening wicket partnership helped Gujarat Titans seal a place in the IPL 2025 playoffs after win over Delhi Capitals, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings have also joined the fray, confirming their spots in the IPL 2025 playoffs.
Two run-gluttons Sudharsan and Gill destroyed a stout Delhi bowling attack and chased down the target of 200 runs in 18.1 overs.
With this win, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings also confirmed their playoff berths. Delhi Capitals, meanwhile, must win both of their remaining matches and rely on other results to stand a chance of qualifying for the knockout stage.

With the three spots confirmed, the battle for the final playoff spot intensifies as Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants, ranked fourth, fifth, and seventh with 14, 13, and 10 points, respectively, gear up for a fierce showdown.
Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans can guarantee a top-two finish and a spot in the first qualifier on May 29 by winning both their remaining league matches against LSG and CSK.
Talking about the match, chasing 200 for victory, Sudharsan (108 not out) and Gill (93 not out) made light work of the target, powering Gujarat to 205 for no loss with six balls to spare.
While Sudharsan struck 12 boundaries and four sixes, Gill clobbered seven sixes and three fours during the unbeaten stand.
