IPL 2025 Auction Uncapped Players
The Indian uncapped players represented a significant portion of the auction pool, showcasing talent from domestic tournaments such as the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and IPL academies. Many young players, including under-19 stars, attracted bidding wars.
The overseas uncapped players consisted of a smaller pool of 12 players, featuring promising talent from associate nations and other cricket-playing countries. This list included players who had performed well in different leagues like The Hundred, BBL, and CPL.
There were two categories of base prices for the uncapped players: Rs. 30 lakhs and Rs. 50 lakhs. The majority of uncapped players had set a base price in the lower category, starting from Rs. 30 lakh, ensuring affordability for teams looking for emerging talent. Among the many already proven players in the uncapped pool, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 13-year-old from India, was the youngest uncapped player in the auction pool. There will be many proven IPL players also up for grabs.
