RCB vs CSK IPL 2025: Royal Challengers Bengaluru's star pacer Josh Hazlewood has been dropped from the playing XI of their IPL 2025 clash against CSK on Saturday. RCB skipper Rajat Patidar didn't reveal the real reason for dropping Hazelwood from the playing XI but revealed that Lungi Ngidi would be replacing him.
Hazelwood, who is lying at the second position in the purple cap lists, after taking 18 wickets in IPL 2025, might be dropped to manage his workload as the group stage of IPL 2025 is nearing its business end as the Bengaluiru-based franchise is eyeing its first title after 18 years.
The Rajat Patidar-led side is lying in the third position in the points table and can finish in the top 2 if they defeat CSK, who have already been knocked out of the race to the playoffs. The MS Dhoni-led side is languishing in the last position in the points table and would be playing this match for some pride.
