IPL 2026 Auction: Ashok Sharma is one of the 359 players who have registered their names at the IPL 2026 auction, which will be held in Abu Dhabi next week. Hailing from Rajasthan, Ashok had registered his name at a base price of Rs 30 lakh. He has grabbed everyone's attention in the ongoing domestic tournament and is most likely to be picked at the auction.

Ashok made his debut in this format last month against Tamil Nadu and is currently the highest wicket-taker of this tournament.

He has taken 20 wickets after playing in nine matches till now.

He had taken three wickets in his debut match and then took two wickets against Tripura. He registered brilliant figures of 3/43 against Karnataka and then took a four-fer against Uttarakhand and Saurashtra. He then took two wickets against Delhi in their next match.

During the last two Super League matches till now, he took one wicket against Haryana and then failed to take any against Hyderabad.

Besides his wicket-taking skills, he has also gained attention for his speed. He had bowled at the speed of 150.3 km/h against Hyderabad and had also bowled at a speed of 145 km/h twice.

He was also part of the Rajasthan Royals this year in the IPL, but didn't play any matches. He was roped in for Rs 30 lakh at the mega auction last year, and they might fight for him again at the upcoming auction.

Besides him, Jammu and Kashmir’s Auqib Nabi Dar and Kerala’s Eden Apple Tom are the other uncapped Indian fast bowlers who might trigger a bidding war at the auction.
