RCB vs GT IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans skipper Shubman Gill and fellow opener Sai Sudharsan entered the ground calmly. They began the innings against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Friday. What happened afterward wasn't quiet.

The duo stitched a brilliant partnership of 128 runs for the first wicket. They set the base for a flying start. This was the Gujarat-based franchise's biggest partnership against the Rajat Patidar-led side.

Sudharsan spearheaded GT's batting lineup by smashing a brilliant hundred. Josh Hazlewood then dismissed him. He brought up his hundred off 58 balls, hitting 11 fours and five sixes. His strike rate was an impressive 172.41.

Gill supported Sudharsan by playing a secondary role during their partnership.

He scored a gritty 32 off 24 balls and rotated the strike perfectly. This helped Sudharsan maintain a high scoring rate. He hit two fours and one six. Suyash Sharma then took his wicket.

In tournament history, the Bengaluru-based franchise holds the record for conceding the most individual hundreds (15). Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians have each leaked 14 centuries.
