IPL 2026 Retention List: All teams are set and gearing up for the IPL 2026 auction, with several moves already making headlines as the retention deadline arrives on Saturday, November 15. The BCCI have officially released a list of all successfully completed trades between the teams ahead of the auction.

While the eyes will be on the released and retained players of all teams, Sanju Samson's move to the Chennai Super Kings from the Rajasthan Royals caught the massive attention as the star wicketkeeper-batter ended his long and impressive association with the inaugural champions. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja returns to his first IPL team, RR, having left CSK after 13 years.

All the franchises are leaving no stone unturned as they look to secure their preferred players. Franchises may retain or release as many players as they wish, with no cap, unlike the mega-auction years. Teams are free to overhaul their squads as they see fit. However, each franchise must operate within the salary purse limit of 120 crore.
