ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026: In a historic first, Italy will mark their first-ever appearance in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, set to be hosted in India and Sri Lanka in 2026; meanwhile, the Netherlands will also feature in their seventh overall and sixth straight T20 WC since 2014.

Italy secured a spot in next year's tournament by finishing among the top two despite suffering a heavy 9-wicket defeat to the Netherlands at The Hague. The Netherlands sealed their place with the win over Italy.

Despite a victory over Scotland, Jersey's hopes were dashed as they had 5 points and which ultimately knocked them out of contention.

A total of 15 teams have sealed their spots in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. The Asia EAP qualifier will add three more teams to the battle, while the Africa qualifier will add two further teams.
