India National Cricket Team vs Australia Men's Cricket Team Match Scorecard: An entertaining day of test cricket ended in a 'fiery' confrontation between Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah and 19-year-old Sam Konstas on Friday. The new year test at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) saw tempers flaring up between Konstas and Bumrah during the last over of the day, when opener Usman Khawaja was testing India's patience by his delay tactics.

The tactics were questioned by Team India players. Meanwhile, young Konstas joined in to add fuel to the fire as Bumrah and him engaged in a heated battle with umpire intervening between the two. Bumrah had the last laugh as he got Khawaja out on the next delivery as he got a death stare soon after. The Indian skipper was also joined by his teammates as they celebrated wildly in front of Konstas. Watch video:

Australia reached nine for one at stumps after bowling out India for 185 on the opening day of the fifth and final Test against Australia here on Friday.

India, who recovered from 57 for 3 to 107 for 4 at tea, lost the remaining six wickets for 78 runs in the final session.

Rishabh Pant (40 off 98) top-scored for India while Scott Boland (4/31) was the pick of the Australia bowlers.

India captain Rohit Sharma rested himself from the series finale with Bumrah walking out for the toss in his place. India trail the series 1-2.
