India's legendary speedster Jasprit Bumrah, who is resting after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 to manage his workload, has started sweating it out in the nets ahead of his upcoming international assignment in England. Bumrah, who was not part of India's T20I side for the Ireland and England series, will be seen in action in the upcoming three-match ODI series against England, which is scheduled to start from July 14.
After that, Bumrah will be seen featuring in the two-Test match series against Sri Lanka, which will take place in August. The legendary speedster took to Instagram to share several pictures of him bowling in the nets, which took no time to go viral on social media. Here are the pics.

Why is Bumrah not featuring in the T20I series against England?
While announcing India's squad for the Ireland and England series, chief selector Ajit Agarkar confirmed that Jasprit Bumrah's exclusion from the Ireland and England T20I tours is a precautionary measure focused on workload management and long-term fitness. Notably, despite missing the spot from the UK tour, Bumrah is part of India's Asian Games squad.

Bumrah's cricketing outing after the England ODI series
After featuring against England in the three-match ODI series, Bumrah will be seen featuring against Sri Lanka in two Test matches, which will take place from August 15 to 27. The opening Test match will take place at the Galle International Stadium before moving to Colombo for the second Test at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground.
