India's star pacer Jasprit Bumrah was trolled brutally on social media by Virat Kohli fans. Earlier this week at an event he was asked that who according to him is the fittest Indian cricketer and he answered this question quite interestingly. He reckoned that he was aware of the answer everyone was looking for but instead said that he would always choose pacers.

His reply received mixed reactions from fans of different cricketers on social media and a lot of them also accused him of being arrogant. Bumrah also emphasized that people don't know that how hard bowlers like him work while bowling fast in subcontinental conditions and that's why he would always prioritize fast bowlers before anyone else.

“I know the answer that you are searching for but I would like to say my name because I am a fast bowler,” Bumrah told a reporter after being asked about the fittest Indian cricketer at the event.

“I’ve been playing for a while. Being a fast bowler and playing in this country in the heat takes a lot of requirements. So I’ll always promote fast bowlers and always take their name,” he revealed.

He also said that he won't take Virat Kohli's name as he is someone who is always considered one of the fittest cricketers in the world but praised him for inculcating the culture of fitness in the Indian team.

He was then trolled brutally on social media by Virat Kohli fans, who highlighted that he did miss out on lots of bilateral series since he got injured consistently and even compared him to Virat Kohli, who was part of all those series that Bumrah had missed. But then Bumrah's fans came to his defense and said that if it wasn't for the star pacer, they wouldn't have performed brilliantly in lots of bilateral series and also in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
