KKR vs RCB IPL 2025 Weather Report: The IPL 2025 is all set to restart as Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face Kolkata Knight Riders at the M Chinnaswamy stadium on Friday. The fans of both teams are quite excited, especially now, as the country remained anxious for weeks due to the Pahalgam terror attack and growing military tensions between India and Pakistan.

It's the perfect time for cricket fans to find some joy. Both teams are considered arch-rivals, and this goes back to the days of Gautam Gambhir's captaincy in Kolkata. During IPL 2024, the Kolkata-based franchise had defeated RCB at both home and away matches in their title-winning campaign. This year, the Rajat Patidar-led side began their campaign by defeating KKR at their backyard, and they will aim to repeat their heroics once again.

If RCB win this match, then they will each the playoffs. But it isn't quite easy in this tournament as rain might play a spoilsport during the upcoming clash.

As per Accuweather.com, Bengaluru will experience thunderstorms from as early as 5 p.m. on Saturday and it will go on till 8 p.m. The situation might improve during the second innings, but the precipitation will be around 34% till 11 p.m.

It should be noted here that Bengaluru's weather has always been unpredictable and might change at the last minute, either for better or worse. Although the venue of the match, M Chinnaswamy stadium does boasts one of the best drainage systems in India, and that can only happen if it stops raining and the ground is ready for the match to begin within minutes.

And that's why the IPL 2025 match between Punjab Kings and RCB wasn't abandoned due to incessant rain, and instead, both teams played a five-over match. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side would be hoping for the same to happen as they can't lose a single point if the match does get abandoned, because then they would be knocked out of the race to the playoffs.
