LSG IPL 2024 Match Schedule: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Rajasthan Royals in their opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 on March 24.
Ahead of the start of the tournament, LSG received the much-needed boost as skipper KL Rahul was declared for the season after missing the four Tests against England due to a right quadriceps injury. He went to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru to heal from the injury and has been deemed fit for the cash-rich league. He will initially play as the special batter as NCA bars him from a wicketkeeping role.

In the first phase of the IPL 2024 schedule, LSG will play four matches - two each at home and away. In their first match in Lucknow, the franchise will host Punjab Kings at Ekana Stadium on March 30. The caravan will then move to Bengaluru to take on Royal Challengers Bangalore at MA Chinnaswamy on April 2.
In their fourth match of the season, Lucknow Super Giants will host runners-up Gujarat Titans at home on April 7.
In the last edition of the tournament, LSG made a playoff exit after suffering an 81-run defeat against Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator. In their inaugural edition of the IPL, LSG finished at the third spot but failed to overcome the Eliminator obstacle.
